Terms of use
What you can do with this site
Short version: read it, use it, quote it, screenshot it. Just do not take the whole thing and pass it off as yours.
Yours to use
TickerMath is free for personal use. Quote a line, screenshot a read, send it to someone who is arguing with you about a stock — all welcome, and a link back to the page is the only courtesy we ask, so whoever you sent it to can check the working themselves.
Not yours to take wholesale
Copying the site in bulk, scraping it, republishing its reads, or reselling any of it is not permitted. That covers the written analysis, the verdicts, the way the numbers are presented, and the design and code of the site itself. The line is roughly the difference between showing someone a page and becoming a second copy of it.
The figures are not ours to claim
Every underlying number comes from public SEC filings, and public filings belong to everyone. We claim no ownership of a company's revenue, cash flow or share count, and nothing here stops you going to EDGAR and reading the same filings we did. What is ours is the writing, the arithmetic as presented, and the site around it.
As-is
TickerMath is provided as-is, with no warranty and no guarantee of accuracy or availability. What this site is and is not — an educational tool, never advice — is set out on the disclaimer page, and that page governs. If the two ever seem to disagree, the disclaimer wins.
Questions about any of this, or want to use something in a way this page does not cover? Ask — the answer is usually yes. These terms may change; the version on this page is the one that applies.
