Want to find your lens? Five questions, no jargon — they tell you which of four reads fits how you already think.

What we store, in plain English
Short version: an email address, a lens, a watchlist and a number. That is the whole file. We do not sell it, and you can have it deleted by asking.
If you never make an account
We store nothing about you on our servers — there is no account to store it in. Your browser keeps a small note of which tickers you have opened this month, so we know when you have used your 3 free reads. That note lives on your device, never reaches us, and clearing your browser data erases it.
Yes — that means the limit is easy to sidestep. We know. We would rather have a meter you can beat than track you hard enough to stop you.
If you make a free account
We store five things, and only these five:
- Your email address. It is how you sign in — we email you a link and clicking it is your sign-in. There is no password to store, so there is no password to leak.
- Your lens. Value, moat, growth or income, so a read opens on the question you care about.
- Your watchlist. The ticker symbols you starred.
- A monthly read count. The tickers you opened this month, so we know when you reach 15. It resets each month.
- Whether "the math changed" emails are on. A single on/off you set yourself; on by default, off with one tap on your account page.
We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or anything about your finances — not because we are being coy, but because we genuinely have no use for them.
If you ask to hear about Pro
The pricing page has one box on it: leave your email and we will tell you when the paid tier exists. If you use it we store your address and the date you gave it, and that is the entire record — no name, no account, no link to anything else you have read here.
We will email that list once, when Pro launches. It is not a newsletter, it is not shared, and it is not merged with anything. Ask us at [email protected] and the row is gone.
The list is write-only from the website: your browser can add an address and cannot read a single one back, including its own. Nobody browsing the site can see who else is on it.
What we do with it
We use it to run your account: sign you in, remember your lens, show your watchlist, count your reads. That is all. We do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. We send you two kinds of email and no others: your sign-in link, and — at most once a day — a note when the computed read on a company you watch meaningfully changes. That second kind is off with one toggle on your account page, and your address never ends up on anyone else's list.
Your data sits in a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, locked so that only your own signed-in session can read your rows. Nobody browsing the site can see anyone else's.
Deleting it
Email [email protected] and ask. We delete the account and everything attached to it — no forms, no "are you sure", no retention period. If you would rather just stop, ignoring us works too: an account you never sign into does nothing.
